Product Condition Guide

Singles

The following condition guide applies to both Holofoil and Non-Holofoil cards.

Important Notes:

  • Centering: Centering does not affect the condition of a raw card for sale on our store. Due to quality control issues, especially in Pokémon sheet cutting, assume no card is perfectly centered (50/50 or 60/40).

  • Grading Potential: We do not guarantee PSA 10 (GEM MINT) cards. Our Near Mint rating is equivalent to PSA 7 or higher.

  • Card Titles: Always refer to the title of the card for accuracy. Images may be incorrect, particularly for Wizards of the Coast era cards where 1st Edition images are used for both 1st Edition and Unlimited variants.

Near Mint (NM)

  • Minimal to no wear from shuffling, play, or handling.

  • Nearly unmarked surface, corners, and edges, with only minor flaws.

  • May have a tiny edge nick or a few mild scratches.

  • Holofoil cards may be slightly warped due to material.

Lightly Played (LP)

  • Minor border, surface, or corner wear.

  • Several scuffs or 5–15 scratches possible.

  • No major defects noticeable on the card.

Moderately Played (MP)

  • Noticeable border or corner wear.

  • Excessive scratching, scuffing, creases, dents, or whitening.

  • Minor creasing/dents may appear alongside other defects.

Heavily Played (HP)

  • Severe wear overall.

  • Border and corner wear, scratching, scuffing, creases, dents, or whitening in high quantity.

Sealed Product

Due to shipping and handling, sealed products may have cosmetic imperfections including:

  • Holes in the wrap

  • Partially torn wrap

  • Dents or creasing on the box

We inspect all sealed product to ensure that packs inside remain undamaged. Cosmetic imperfections are not grounds for replacement or refund.
